Stand up and walk to a corner of the room. Turn around, sit down. Close your eyes and observe. For the next half hour, observe yourself not thinking about a pink elephant.
This is a place for thoughts I can’t help thinking, for ideas I can’t help having and a place to work on my writing. Here, I empty my mind to find out what’s going on in my head. There is no theme and no format, no structure, no unity, not even a plan.
There’s just the curse of the pink elephant.
